NAPHL recently has released their new footprint map covering all league clubs locations from across the country. Most teams from last years NAPHL season are making a reappearance in the 2011-12 campaign. Returning members to the NAPHL include Lansing Capitals, Orange County HC, San Jose Jr. Sharks, Pikes Peak Miners, Las Vegas Storm, California Titans, Texas Tornado, St. Louis Selects, Pittsburgh Viper Stars, Detroit Falcons, Indiana Jr. Ice, Omaha AAA and Wenatchee Jr. Wild.

Some new members include the West Michigan Hounds, who are from Kalamazoo, Michigan and they are affiliated with the new NAHL Kalamazoo Jr. K-Wings. Also, Phoenix Firebirds will become a new member into the North American Prospects Hockey League and New Jersey Titans from the AYHL will become the NAPHL's second team from an Atlantic ocean bodering state. Carolina Jr. Hurricanes are returning to the NAPHL after taking a leave of absence last year. Even more shocking, NAPHL will welcome its first Canadian club, as Pursuit of Excellence Hockey Club will compete in 2011-12 NAPHL season.
