Week 6: Lansing Capitals

Lansing Capitals went a perfect 5-0 at the opening showcase of the NAPHL in Blaine, MN. Capitals' five victories improved their record to 9-1-1 on the season, with their only loss coming to Dallas Ice Jets at Motor City Cup. Lansing is in their third year as participants of the NAPHL, and finished third place in the standings last year. Capitals already have impressive wins over Lake Forest Academy Prep, Phoenix Firebirds, Indiana Jr. Ice and Wenatchee Wild, while they claimed a 3-3 draw with in-state compeitior Honeybaked at Motor City Cup. Lansing looks to be a dark horse in the Michigan state playoffs once again, as they continue to be a conteneder in the NAPHL. Lansing has important games against in-state compeition including versus Victory Honda, Compuware, Oakland Jr. Grizzlies, Detroit Falcons, and West Michigan Hounds to prepare them for the state playoffs in March.
