This weekend, Rochester Americans are hosting a round robin tournament. The tournament field consists of two western New York teams and two Pittsburgh teams. Each team plays one game against the three other opponents. The team with the best overall record will claim first place, but this isn’t an official tournament with an actual champion. Rochester Americans is the only team who’s started the 2011-12 season already. Rochester has victories over Cheektowaga AA and West Seneca Wings for a 2-0 record.
