San Jose Jr. Sharks are hosting their 8th annual Labor Day Jamboree at Sharks Ice beginning on September 2. This is one of two Labor Day tournaments that kick off the 2011-12 tournament season. Labor Day Jamboree usually consists of Pacific district participants, and the tournament allows Pacific district teams to take their first look at district competitors. San Jose Jr. Sharks 18U AAA is hosting the tournament and they're joined by five other Pacific district teams to field the six team tournament. The tournament competitors include NAPHL members San Jose, Orange County, California Titans and Wenatchee Wild. The other two tournament teams are representing Alaska, Alaska All Stars and Alaska Wolves. Orange County is the defending champion at the Labor Day Jamboree, and they hope to continue their early season success at the tournament in San Jose.
