Compiled by U18 Hockey News Staff

NJPHL welcomes eight new U18 teams
NJPHL's second season will see growth in competition and the number of teams in both the U18 and U16 division. NJPHL has only two teams who return from last years inaugural U18 season, but eight new teams will round out the league for a total of ten teams.

Lake Erie Warriors out of the Cleveland area hope to improve on a third place finish from last year, and a dreadful finish in the national rankings. Phoenix Firebirds hope to do the same, as they finished fourth in the NJPHL regular season standings last year.

U18 field brings in three teams who competed in the NJPHL's U16 division last year. Cincinnati club Queen City Steam is making its second straight appearance in the league, as does the Atlanta Fire and Fort Wayne Komets.

Newcomers into the NJPHL who will compete in the U18 division include Maksymum Hockey, North Broward Prep, Naperville Sabres AA, Boston Warriors and Pittsburgh Jr. Penguins.
